Avon lip wear - Ultra colour & Glazewear sparkle

I recently ordered 2 lip products from Avon and they were definitely worthy of a blog post!

I bought the Ultra colour rich 24ct gold lipstick in ruby in gold, and the glazewear Sparkle lip gloss in sugarcane.

The lipstick is great! It lasts ages, gets in all the tiny lip creases, and has the most amazing colour to it. The small grated gold dust makes the lipstick colour hint a slight summery orange twinge to it. Perfect for the nice weather and yet great to cheer up your mood if the weather is a bit Down.

If the lipstick is a bit too dareish for you, try the glazewear lip gloss in sugarcane.

It's a tinted lip gloss so it only gives you a subtle shade to your lips but highlights them with the glitter, a pretty edge to any outfit. I like this lip gloss as it glides across your lips easy with the applicator in the lid, and it coats your lips evenly giving them a plump and flawless look.

Men's Shaving... Don't Feel The Burn!

Do you suffer with the annoyance of dry, cracked and even spotty skin after shaving? 
If you do, this could be caused by your shaving cream/foam/gel! 

Shaving Gel, Foam, Oil and Cream sit on the surface of your skin rather than absorbing in to soften the skin and hair follicles before shaving. This causes the skin to become dry and cracked and in worse cases you can get shaving spots which then can become ingrown hair spots which become quite sore. 

I decided to buy the WILKINSON SWORD SHAVING SOAP BOWL AND BRUSH for my partner to try as he suffers from all of the symptoms caused by shaving. 

Since he has been using it, I can honestly say that his skin has improved miraculously! within 2 shaves, his skin was almost clear! I couldn't believe it! 

Combined with the L'Oreal men expert moisturiser, his skin is "to die for".

Because it is shaving soap, it is easier to work into the skin. By using the brush to apply the soap, it works the soap into all the small pores of the skin almost like an exfoliator brush does! 

I would recommend this to any man. It may seem a little more expensive than the regular shaving liquids, but it is 100% worth the extra money. Plus, the soap lasts a long time!

Birkenstocks - Your Feet Will Feel The Love!

Now I have to say... I LOVE MY BIRKENSTOCKS! 

For one, they are moulded to a natural foot position unlike some of the normal flip-flops that are completely flat and cause more damage to your posture, legs and joints than they do to your feet. By being moulded to a natural foot position, they are able to support your whole body in a way that leaves you feeling refreshed and full of life in every step! 

Then you have their colour range! Its amazing! There are so many different shades of colours! Better than the rainbow!

I think one of the best things is that they have a repair service! If your one of those people who HATE getting rid of your shoes even if they are a bit mish-mashed, the outer sole and the foot bed can easily be replaced! how great is that?!

I myself suffer with the typical legs, back and joints pains caused by the un-supportive women's shoes that are out there, but I have noticed that every time I wear my BIRKENSTOCKS, I feel no aches or pains.

I have over 40 pairs of shoes in my collection so far so I know what I'm talking about when it comes to footwear. I'm a shoe-a-holic! I would recommend birkenstocks to anyone; with their wide range of shoes with all different soles,shapes and textures theres a perfect pair for everyone!

Be Good To Your Skin

Be good to your skin, you only get this chance once in life! 

Before you know it you have skin damage and you will be wishing you had taken the time to look after yourself properly!

I have tried so many exfoliators for my skin and have found that the best ones are as follows;

Freederm Exfoliating Facial Wash for Blackheads and extremely oily skin (controls sebum)

at £2.99 from Superdrug, This is a great bargain and a must have! 

I found that freederm was better than Clearasil, Simple, Witch, Clarity and even Clean and Clear!

Lula Bloom Sugar Scrub for an all over body scrub at an affordable price at 99p for 350ml from Superdrug. 

and finally

Sanctuary Spa Kyphi Nourishing Hot Sugar Scrub for an extra special pampered feeling. Great in the winter as it heats as you rub into skin! £12.99 for 400ml from Boots!

After exfoliating, you should always put the moisture back into your skin as not to dry it out and cause cracked/wrinkled skin!

Here are what I think are the 2 best moisturising lotions!

Freederm Zone Balancing Moisturiser for softer, hydrated and less spotty facial skin. £8 from Superdrug. 

Sanctuary Spa Essentials Body Lotion a combination of Ginger root extract and jojoba with pro-vitamin B5 for a relaxing soft  protecting feeling to the whole of your body.

My Favourite Nail Polish

BarryM Nail Paint in Pink Iridescent (left) and Strawberry (right) are my favourite nail polishes at the moment!

I added three layers of Strawberry to my nails for the strong undercoat. Its a lovely colour but it seemed too flat for me. once the first colour was dry I added the Pink Iridescent to give it a pink glittery finish.

Very Girly, Very sexy, Very attractive to the eyes!

L'Oreal Men Expert

The L'Oreal Men expert Range is by far the best buy for a Male's skin this year!

They have something for every man! From Greasy/Oily skin to dried out skin. And it smells amazing!

I recently bought this for my partner and he seems to love it. It leaves his skin soft and glowing after a shave! 

It has also improved his shaving spots (which are always a problem).

It definitely goes on His and My TOP 10 BUYS FOR MEN 2010!
